Wow! If you think about it... DirecTV has no other choice. If they wouldn't allow customers to cancel.... they'd eventually lose customers overall... and just cancel service all together.

Sort of smart on DirecTV's part.

Trump's comments has caused a lot of businesses to lose revenue.

The NFL makes $1.5 billion a year in licensing revenue from DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket package. It gives sports fans the ability to watch every Sunday football game for around $280 per season. Refunds for the service usually aren't given once the football season is underway. But exceptions are being made because of the controversy over the national anthem protests.

I sat in my local Cigar Bar Sunday night.

A crowd of upper middle class, blue collar, married, family oriented men. Many vets....I have never seen more people United in their disgust at what they saw on TV. It was a surreal experience.

Guys were turning their team logoed apparel inside out. One put his Cigar out right on his Steelers hat.

If kneeling or not kneeling affected that outcome, then I’d care.

Everyone should cancel their nfl ticket asap!! It was necessary like five years ago but today, just google reddit nfl streams on gamedays and you'll have your choice of 720p free high quality streams. You need a good internet connection though.

I'll stream it online in the future if I really need to watch a game, no big deal...ADTHE.com has all the games in HD for free...

If the league rights the ship I sign up for league pass again at a prorated rate in the future..

wait, aren't you a Christian. don't you think that is a little bit of cheating. Directv is not responsible for what football players do. They would win this in court if they fought it but they are simply interested in good will.
