It would be great if people just completely stopped going to games and nfl loses sponsors. Unfortunately it won't happen. I lost all respect for these disgraceful anti-american players. I am not a fan anymore. Baseball is much more exciting to watch anyways.

It can happen...and have a effect....very easily. This isn't a sub forum like Reddit calling for a Netflix boycott this is the president essentially forcing the hand of your country or football...this is genius for him because it just strengthens his base and puts a even larger shitty taste in people's mouths for the far left and how insane they have became.

I have no problem with anyone doing a peaceful protest. I completely disagree that it's disgracing the game, the country, flag, or anthem. This country was built on freedom of speech and I hope you boycott watching and attending the games. Best of luck in causing NFL to change it's stance.

Start protesting the national anthem on a mass scale and who knows what the extent of the damage will be. Remember, this is a country that is leaning towards Nationalism (using the term correctly and not in the hijacked sense) and the best way to piss off a Nationalist is to disrespect their national anthem. The boycott is going to most likely be a slow growing cancer through the NFL that will continuously erode viewership and financial support. Every time these athletes get upset they are going to take a knee, stay in the locker room, or turn away from the flag. Each time they do this they are going to lose a few more fans.....like a slow growing cancer.

My God. Nobody is protesting the national anthem they are using the visibility of the anthem for a statement of protest. I haven't seen anyone of them showing anger or being upset but I sure see the hate from the people that don't agree with them. Do you really think you love this country more than they do? Do you think you are better than them because you stand up for a song? The only slow growing cancer is the people that do not believe other people have a voice. The people that want others to tow the line, cow tow to the establishment, act the way they want them to act are not Patriots.
