Looks to me like they know 14.5 to 15.5 not gonna mean anything and didn't want bungals lower than 23. Only way to get 38 accomplishing that.

Knowing how incompetent and cheap the Bungals are, I wouldn't be surprised if Lewis got an extension. He's fairly cheap relative to other coaches. I believe he almost makes half of what Pete Carrol does.

Guy gets a bad wrap imo. He turned this crap franchise into perennial playoff contenders. Sure they never win said playoff game but a lot of fan bases would be thrilled to be making the playoffs as often as bungals have under Lewis..

He far from great but certainly more capable than many of the bums coaching around the league (I'm talking bout you cancer chuck). Upper management has did him no favors in recent years, the defense aging and regressing and these geniuses spend all their early picks on offense, they needed another rb like I need a hole in my head!

Let's not forget ol Marv has lost quite a few coordinators to head coaching jobs over the years as well.. this job has run its course but he shouldn't be unemployed long.
