    Nope

Does good pitching peak too early??

    Kershaw& darvish+Wood+ ryu that bullpen don't slump.

    They're the real deal

Peaking too early, they were a .500 team on the road the first half of the season and Bellinger wasn't called up until close to the all-star break. They won't need much hitting with the starting pitching and bullpen they have, the Cubs didn't hit much either until the world series.

Impressive year thus far, have to give them credit. Having said that, let's see what happens when October comes because when you shrink a season to one series we have seen them fall apart time after time and that was when their ace pitcher was considered unhittable. Laker has a good point. Its hard to imagine a team keeping this pace up with the playoffs looming. Players will start to slump before the end and then we will see how far they can reach down as a team.

    That was B.D

    Before Darvish
    And good wood

    And bellinger

    And Watson
    And morrow
And ... we'll you get the picture

Keyshawn doesn't have to be super man this year short rest and all that.

    Crown them now!

In the playoffs it's basically a 5 inning game

Can you score off kershaw, darvish, wood or ryu before the 5th because it's

    Morrow bringing 95-100 mph
    Or Watson

    Then Baez to kenley

    Yeah good luck

    And there's others

Playoffs is a 5 inning game? How many times have great regular season players folded in the playoffs?

You don't even understand what I posted....

    So I'll try again

The bullpen is pretty much lights out

I don't think anybody can debate this

You haven't noticed? If you aren't ahead of the dodgers in the regular season by about the 5th or 6th inning you're usually fukked. Now imagine in the playoffs when intensity gets turned up.

    I hope that helped

    Morrow could be a closer

    Watson has closed

    Baez could be a closer

Kenley is one of the best closers if not thee best.

That's not even all the arms

Scoring off the dodgers isn't going to be easy in the playoffs if you can't tell.

That definitely true. I think dbags pose a really big threat to doyers in the nlds (assuming they win the wild card game).. Cubs will most likely be playing nats in other nlds so odds are lad won't even see nats. To me looks like they will have to get by zona then scrubbies to make it to World Series. I agree w lb here they peaking too early.

Their pen is really good no doubt. Zona has a really strong pen until the 9th then unfortunately they go to Rodney who sucks. I think zona capable of giving them a great series but having that clown close games could be the difference.

Worried about the nationals to be honest. They're the 2nd best team in the NL.

If anybody beats the dodgers in a series it's probably the nationals. They're pretty much the poor mans version of the dodgers 2 aces a solid 3rd in gio, pretty good lineup although not as good as the dodgers. And a solid bullpen with Doolittle, madsen and that other arm I forget the name, but obviously the pen isn't as good as the dodgers.

Poor mans dodgers lolz no disrespect I like the nationals just is what it is.

Diamondbacks won't beat the dodgers in a series not even a concern trust me.

    Greinke, godley, walker

    I don't think so

No classic swoon for these Dodgers - never bad for a 1st place team to roll in August.

I do think so, dbags have good starters and pen plus a lineup full of quality hitters.. I think that would be a excellent series but I do worry about Rodney against a team that been really good late in games.

Nats pen still far from a strength and they perennial chokers just like the doyers. If it comes down to those 2 I actually think that lad best chance to make it..

The Cubs are mediocre at best, if they were in a real division such NL West they wouldn't even be .500. The lineup is mediocre and the pitching is barely above average, Lackey will wear down.

    LA DODGERS
44-7 over the past two months.
    Is that good?

Dodgers just ran off best 50-game stretch in history

Unless you were at the Polo Grounds in 1912, you haven't seen dominance like this in baseball. And the Dodgers are doing it in remarkable fashion.
It was an amazing 50-game stretch. They have 55 more games in the regular season -- only 22 against teams with winning records.
    But none of the players
cares about getting to a record 116 wins.
    That's not the goal.
Dodgers fans know what the goal is.

You can still get good+odds on the dodgers to win the world series.
