      What a thread!

Basic note here, for anyone who has studied MATH. There's a difference between CONTINUOUS and DISCRETE.

If it's a baseball game, there can be 9 runs. Or 10 runs. But not 9.2 runs or 9.8 runs. That's a DISCRETE distribution.

      A time can be a CONTINUOUS distribution. 9rounds + 1second. 9rounds + 2seconds, etc. 9rounds + 2.094seconds etc.

Who is this hamburger bookie? LOL, give me his phone#. Over 9 = Over 9.5?? BOOKIE: "Close enuf, we're mates. I'll pay it out."
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

I don't care if you paid nor not by a dumb bookie. Your thread was to take the over 9.5 which didn't win. Your pick and analysis were wrong. Own it and move on... geez.

I myself had McBurger to win but arbed Moneyweather after the 9th inning with my cash flow positive bookie. Then I max bet under 9 rounds and got paid out. A pretty good day.

Had the over myself at 9.5 at 5 dimes and lost as well. Did you guys notice how Floyd was looking up at the clock a few times after the Ref ended the fight? On a later interview with Sal P., Floyd himself stated he had under 9.5 too.

on the phone he yelled "i'm gonna fukk you till you love me" just like mike tyson said in that famous presser like 20 years ago.

then he said "i'll shit down your throat" and he hung up the phone.

i texted back and said i'd pay him the 50 but he texted back said "too late, am angry as hellll".

                        boys, i am scared

Statman, this is a great post! On 2 fronts...u hit a Home Run:

                            1) Yes. If Floyd had Under 9.5 (like he was rumored to have bet or TRIED TO BET at M), then he wanted to make sure he finished it b4 1:30 of 10th round.

                            2) If above is true, think about it. How legit was this fight? The one outcome that could NOT happen was Floyd winning by KO in 1st 2 rounds. If that had happened, then public outcry for PPV purchases. Notice how passive Floyd was in 1st 4rounds? Sure, some of that was Floyd letting Conor tiring himself out. Some of it was Floyd not wanting to give the PPV-buyers a short show. IE, Floyd could virtually name the time of stoppage!

For anyone that bets sports, it's fair to say that Boxing is a different animal. In a category different than other sports. I say that for 3 reasons:

                              1) Moneyline sport. Not the same as a Spread sport where you're mostly betting -110/-110.

                              2) It's a Moneyline sport where the Favorite usually holds up. The big Moneyline Fav is often value. Think about the Canelo/JCC2 fight. How worried could Canelo (-500) have been? He was already negotiating details for super-fight vs GGG. By carrying his dad's name, JCC2 was grossly overbet. Did he really have a better chance of winning than Conor did (vs Mayw)?

                              3) Boxing = the "sweet science." The boxing purists hinted at this b4 Conor/Floyd fight. It's not the same thing as other sports, which are often a contest of superior athleticism. Boxing is about accumulating pts and managing the fight. Floyd's 49-fight experience let him know just what he had to do tactically. Very little chance of an upset.
