Never handicap on streaks. Let me explain the "flat". The saber numbers I use tell me the team is flat, regardless of how many wins they put together or what the scores were. Their numbers didn't go bad, however, they are not better either. In other words, they are playing about the same even though they are streaking right now. Sounds weird, but when you look at the wOBA and ISO numbers, they are flat as a board.

With that being said, that is the reason the Braves have value. The betting public sees the runs scored and the win streak, but, it's an illusion. The public always bets streaks, which is never good, only for books.
