Just try to limit the damage, stay in the game and play some ball year round. Accept it as entertainment, not a main source of income.

Absolutely not. I am addicted to winning and will only play if I win every week.

Like every mutual fund manager ever, I couldn't wake up in the morning if I didn't think I could beat the market.
Resolve to win and never sway, even in the face of defeat. No Surrender.

Losses suck but they happen. With the system I've been using the last 6-7 years they hurt me more than they hurt most of you who follow the 2% per unit systems; but hey, losses happen. Sometimes even the right play loses. The bigger the play, the harder that pill is to swallow but I always end up climbing back and beyond so it's really just a setback. At this point, it's really just a "well that sucked" and then I go play with the kids to get some joy back into the day. I never watch games I have action on so it's not some long drawn out thing when I lose.

Being on the wrong side and lose is worse. Then you're guaranteed to lose in the long run too, not just this one instance of a game.

Lol. Aside from sports I Haven't played dice or anything other than a few hands of blackjack in a casino in years baldy. Try harder next time.
Are bobby, fishdick and you still crawling around floors in sports books looking for dropped winning tickets and French fries?

And there in lies the difference between you and me Grit. A loss and losing are the same thing to you. I don't accept losing. But I can get over a loss. 2 different things in my book. If you finish a season with less than you started you are losing. If you just took a hit, that's just a loss. Gotta get past it or you will do stupid chasing shit. A loss is a temporary setback. Losing is a trend. Not being able to quickly get over that temporary setback sets it up to become a trend.

If you're not good at something maybe it's time to quit. If you don't want to quit, go with a proven tout or system,
because your skills aren't very good.
Give us detailed reasons why you make picks, maybe we can help.

Donald J. Trump told me I would win so much I would get tired of winning. I will never be tired of winning
Accepting being a loser is pretty sad, but usually it is a democrat thing, the perennial losers
