SegWit will probably lock in on August 8th. Am I psychic? No, the voting deck's been stacked since the implementation of BIP 91, so it's only a matter of getting to the 1,613th block this period, which I'm projecting for August 8th. Implementation would then occur about August 22nd.

SegWit2x, the hard fork doubling the block size from 1mb to 2mb (vs BCC's 8mb), will probably lock in by the end of August, but I'd be shocked if there's a successful agreement on a plan to double block size by its scheduled implementation date in November. Call me a cynic, but it wouldn't surprise me if the 2x part of SegWit2x never takes place at all.
