Might need season-ending surgery.
Sounds like Tannehill might be done.

#8The season win totals on the Dolphins is currently 7.5 .
Could be wrong but I say it drops .5 game at most if he's out for the season and it's Moore as QB.Comment -

My 2-cents on potential replacements:
* I actually like Cutler as a one-year stopgap, as long as Jay shuts his mouth. Knows Gase, it would work.
* Kaepernick would be a huge mistake. Guy is done.
* Wanna know a guy who would be a real coup...
...Tony Romo! In back of my mind, I've always thought that Tony didn't think he was done. Take a broad-casting gig? Hey, that means you're 1st in line to take QB job after injury. Same for cutler, but Romo is better.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#11Good post. Yep, don't think # would move too much. Dolphins a playoff team last season, so they're not going to slash the hell out of the #.

Just copied a piece of an article on backup QBs
I have always felt that Matt Moore deserves an opportunity to compete for a starting job, especially given his past success. In 24 career starts, Moore has gone 18-6 ATS (+11.57 units won) which makes him one of the most profitable quarterbacks in our database. Based on his track record, it’s easy to understand why oddsmakers would be hesitant to adjust the spread if Ryan Tannehill goes down.Last edited by jt315; 08-03-17, 10:42 PM.Comment -

#14Matt Moore was decent years in the past but he's 32 now and the Dolphins are built to throw the ball down the field with Parker and Landry - Moore's skill set is as a game manager and that doesn't fit. Cutler fit with Gase very well in Chicago and if Cutler is on a one year deal you are going to get his best. Kapernick is a joke - this theory he's being black balled is stupid, anyone could have traded for him before last year and he kneeling, no one wanted him.Comment -

#18That's because the offensive line was hurt and their second best receiver played in 4 games. If Parker and Landry are both healthy they will pass more than they run, their best players are receivers and Adam Gase is there to build the passing game.Last edited by thomorino; 08-04-17, 12:03 AM.Comment -

The adjustment will likely be too heavy. Talented roster, but the Fantasy FB players won't recognize the QB.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

Miami will be fine, Moore should've been the starter in the first place.Comment -
