I can't really bet objectively on this event. I like McGregor and hate Floyd. So, how do I bet on McGregor and minimize my negative EV?

I took: Mayweather is knocked down or out +375. I'll also win if there's a TKO, DQ, etc.

It's pretty negative EV, but it should be fun.

Sportsbook dot com is offering McGregor punches landed O/U 7.5 punches landed in any round (-110/-130), and also offering McGregor punches landed in fight O/U 29.5 (-120).... and Floyd KO/TKO/DQ at -200.... so basically, Floyd gonna beat him up. I am already on O 8.5 and 9.5 (+100/+150), and on Floyd to not score knockdown at +200..... looks like I might lose all of those quickly.
Does the under 7.5 punch landed for any round seem good? Doesn't seem like alot... but maybe it is... thoughts?

who is going to pay for this garbage?

8oz seems like a ploy to sell tickets especially since they are doing terrible and had to dump them to the resell market.

Gonna be bootlegging this. Mayweather still owes me from when I was a fool and bought the Pacquiao fight where he danced around.

                              Check this article by bettingresource:

The Money Fight: Betting Preview, Prediction and Outcome

Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor betting odds are the hottest market in the sports betting industry right now. Because of the heavy public interest in this boxing match, the fight odds are set with heavy margins that favors the sportsbooks regardless of which side you bet. Only the very best and reliable sportsbooks will offer the fairest lines. If you want to bet this boxing match online and still wondering where to bet, here are the safest and reliable online sportsbooks with the best odds and lines:
                              • Pinnaclesports For non Americans.
                              • Betcris For non Americans
                              • Bookmaker For Americans and other countries where pinnacle/betcris are restricted
                              • 5dimes For Americans and other countries where pinnacle/betcris are restricted
                              • Nitrogen Sports For bitcoin bettors from all countries.

When the fight was first announced most sportsbooks opened Mayweather at around 1.01 (-10000) betting favorite with McGregor at around 16.00 (+1500) underdog. As of Aug 24th, Mayweather is around 1.18 (-550) and McGregor is around 6.00 (+500). In addition to betting the winner, you can also bet on many propositions such as winner by KO, winner by decision, over/under on total rounds and many others. But all these offers in most books are heavily taxed to favor the sportsbook. To put it into perspective, think of tossing a coin--chance of heads/tails is 50-50--a standard book would offer -110 (1.91) odds on the outcome of the coin toss and the top books would offer -105 (1.95) But when the books offer odds around -120 (1.83) on both sides of the coin toss, they are heavily taxing the line to increase their profit. That is what ishappening with this fight line--most books are taxing both sides heavily in order to maximize their profit. This means even if you bet the winning side, you are not getting a fair payout. At bettingresource, we avoid making picks on events like these for our clients. Anyone who bets this match should just bet it as a fun bet instead of including this in their betting investment portfolio.
There are also many other things to consider. First and fore most, this is not a typical boxing fight--it is rather a money making scheme or a business deal between the two fighters and their promoters. Don't believe anything you see or hear in the press conferences, media, social media etc. It is all a show for publicity to increase interest and demand for the fight. Conor and Floyd are business partners, shaking hands behind the scenes in this business deal while putting on a show in front of the cameras for the gullible public. This is the most expensive pay-per-view boxing match and is set to break records--if everything go according to plan, Mayweather is expected to earn over $200 million and McGregor is expected to earn close to a $100 million.
In terms of boxing skills, Mayweather is the clear favorite. If money is out of the picture, this fight would never happen because Mayweather is undefeated 49-0 champion while the challenger McGregor has zero professional boxing matches under his belt. Yes, McGregor is a great MMA fighter with experience but it means nothing when you put him in a boxing rink with boxing rules. It is impossible for anyone who never competed professionally in boxing to learn the game in a few months. Conor is not only trying to do that but challenging the undefeated champion. Lets not forget that McGregor got out-boxed and knocked out by Diaz (not a professional boxer) in the octagon not too long ago. If this is a real boxing match with full integrity from both fighters, Mayweather will win this bout easily. But the big question is WILL THIS BE A REAL FIGHT? Are the fighters satisfied with one big pay day or would they want to create scenarios for re-match for another massive payday? In order for re-match to happen, Conor must win or make the fight competitive and take it to the distance before he loses. McGregor win can skyrocket the marketability of both sports and both players can secure themselves another massive payday via re-match. Is Mayweather willing to sacrifice his 49-0 legacy in order to secure another massive payday? Never understimate the power of money over humans.
If you want to bet this fight for fun, you can go ahead and do so in the good books that was recommended earlier in this article. If you are backing Conor McGregor, you lost a lot of value even if he wins because you could have had him as 10.00 (+11000) or higher underdog, now the payout will be less than half. However, if you like Mayweather, the odds are now at the best value relative to the opening odds. Don't bet serious money on this joke of an event that is equivalent to WWE wrestling.
As said before, at bettingresource we never bet on events like this for investment purposes. If you are betting serious money and considering making a money from sports betting, take a look at our free picks or our premium client picks and play them with our money management that can help you double your bankroll every 2.5 months or so.

*assuming the fight judging is on the up and up. Nothing would surprise me which is why I doubt I play anything over fun little entertainment bets.
exactly, no one should bet this fight as part of their betting investment. if you must, it should be just as fun/entertainment bet. this fight is fishy as hell.

that's a lock.. Unless floyd and bieber planned all this which would seem like a complete waste of time then there is no chance bieber is walking out with floyd tonight.

Still sticking with the OVER for total rounds in the fight. Rooting for McGregor, but won't bet who will win or lose.
