If you are talking straight athletes. You need to talk about the guys who could have gone pro in multiple sports. Preferably basketball & football as they are generally more athletic than baseball players. Bo, Deion Sanders, AI, Randy Moss. Thorpe is a good one. Anderson Silva has to be up there if you are going to say Ali.

But why do both, getting to watch all the white high school guys in WV trying to catch him on a weekly basis was the greatest thing ever on Friday nights.

And him and white chocolate on the same BB team was just plain unfair. And showtime is an understatement

Read a bio on Thorpe years ago. Dude was so far ahead of his peers and if I remember played 3 sports for $$.

What's he's done this year is remarkable. He's playing ultra aggressive to shorten the rallies because he's the only player in the world who can pull off the shots to do it.

He might be playing as well as he did in his prime back in the mid-late 2000s.

a couple people from the decathlon that killed the competition certain years

specialists in a sport DO NOT COUNT for best athlete
