Clearly guys in this thread that don't know their hockey.

Solid between the pipes...outstanding defense, I mean their top 6 D will be stout. They have some super skilled forwards, who are young, and haven't had big roles yet in the NHL. Jason Garrison and Marc Methot are both studs.

I'll pull this thread up in about 9 months. To say one of the worst rosters in modern time is just asinine!

Chemistry is important in hockey. The roster doesn't look that bad, but whether or not these guys can play well on the same line with each other, remains to be seen.

ps:btw Their jerseys blow! I think it's always a bad idea, when they try to add gold or tan colors to the uniforms.

Team will be terrible year one....where's the firepower compared to other teams around the league who all have 3+ better options to score and make plays?

They might grind out a few games but overall can't see them competing

Great pick up between the pipes.
They may finish last but this was a good expansion draft by recent standards.

MN Wild made it to the Western Conference Final in their 3rd season. Vegas will be lucky to finish above 3rd worst in the Western Conference. If they are smart, they trade the older guys and load up on draft picks. They avoided taking Raanta, Dumba, and some of the better players.

The team will do all right, but has zero chance of making the playoff. They are in the West, where both Winnipeg and Los Angeles finished over .500 and did not make the playoffs. It took 94 points to make the playoffs in the past season and this team is nowheres near a 94 point team. As far as the uniforms go, they will be gone in two years.

Interesting picks for the team, i wanna see what their style will be. Good goaltending though. As an Avalanche fan, I'm pretty sure we'll be competing with Vegas for last place. I do like the uniforms for the Golden Knights, different from most teams, except similar with Ottawa's jerseys.

Chemistry tends to be more pronounced in the playoffs when role players step up and catch other teams off guard etc.

Vegas, through no fault of their own, have no depth. They may be able to ice a decent 1st line with some familiar names, but once that line gets matched up against a shutdown line, look at lines 2-4 or D-Men 3-4-5-6.

Pickard can't be thrilled. Goes from being a target in net for Avs games, to having a new franchise rely on him to try and keep them competitive.

Maybe I'm wrong, but this isn't like one game where anything can happen. Over the grind of 82 games, when injuries kick in, teams are (in my opinion) going to feast on these guys as their weaknesses and lack of depth get exploited.
