Oklahoma HSBB Coaches Fired After Using School Bus to Buy Beer

Two basketball coaches from Tishomingo High School in Oklahoma were fired after they drove a bus owned by the school to purchase alcohol, KOTV in Tulsa, Oklahoma, reported Saturday.

A member of the school board confirmed the coaches used the bus while the team was attending a basketball camp at Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma.
"We were pretty upset because we paid money out of pocket to go that camp, because we had to stay for three nights and we had to end up leaving on the second day," said Kyle Miller, a member of the Tishomingo basketball team, per Sydney Gray of KXII in Sherman, Texas.

Miller said the team wasn't aware of what had happened with the bus until a day after the incident.

According to MaxPreps, Tishomingo went 7-14 during the 2016-17 season.

About a year ago I worked on a few projects with a mix of Euros and Americans and only Americans would come to me and snitch on their team members, like it was just a normal and noble thing to do.

It really depends on how much beer did they buy? When reading this initially, I was picturing the coaches carrying a couple of kegs out to the bus but reading it closely, it probably was a freaking 6 pack. Also, were the players on the bus at the time or back at the hotel?

This sounds like a case of overreaction. The clerk overreacted because he doesn't know the situation. All you can do is sell the beer to a legal customer. You cannot monitor what happens from there. Also Connor's State College (who the fukk are they?) definitely overreacted as well. The clerk called them and they acted. They should have asked the clerk if he saw the kids drinking? What laws did they break? Mind your damn business... BUT NO, they had to report it as well, maybe the police who should have asked the same questions. This shit happens every weekend in every city. Not worth reporting.

Culture, America is soft. You can't even have a good street fight without somebody snitching, putting it on YouTube or world star which is dry snitching but it's snitching. This snitching epidemic we have here would never fly in Russia. Am I wrong rocket? You know it's bad I know of three guys crips that did some serious crimes got caught snitched got out within weeks or months and everybody is acting like it's all good. One they even threw a coming home party for. Snitching isn't being punished so it's become a real problem here. LA is the worst I've seen.

You're 100% right! Snitches in Russia are generally looked at as the lowest form of life after rapists. Getting labeled as a rat even for something trivial, especially in a criminal world here, is pretty much an automatic death sentence.

When snitch gets into the jail here, police don't put them in a protective custody, but instead throw them in a overcrowded cell with the rest of the prisoners. They sleep on the floor next to the toilet, no one is allowed to give a cigarette or touch them. They also eat with a spoon with a big all hole in the middle, to identify them as a snitch. Same treatment goes for rapists too.
