I didn't realize there were sane and intelligent people on here (there are a few I'll admit). People are so blinded by their hate for a black man (who's mom was whiter than my ass in winter) and women.

He's thinking of his endorsements. He's still unproven and doesn't need to start a fire right now. Curry, Durant, et al are established and richer than god so they can take such a stance. Look at what's happened to Kap? A guy that made championship and superbowl runs can't get ONE backup job.

I personally wouldn't decline it because I think it's an honor to visit the White House, even if you don't agree with the current President. You obviously haven't been to a game in quite some time. Ticket prices are out the roof in the NBA. They are having huge success all over the world, not just the US. Their TV ratings have shattered older numbers as people are watching in record amounts. Season tickets here in Houston are ~ $60k each for good seats.

The NBA's target audience today is "affluent". They're not catering to the poor.

I can't tell another man what they should sit or stand up for but I've always felt the only way to voice your concerns is to have a seat at the table. What better way then at the White House? I'm really surprised this would come out so soon and I would hope they would reconsider but it's their choice. I respect anyone's choice no matter how bad I think it is.

the problem is that the people that voted for him, must think he is at least as smart as them probably smarter if they believe he is fit to be president, that unfortunately says a lot about the level of intelligence of people, and you fall into depression as you realize that these people live among you
