#40No, love was never anything but a stat padder on a t wolves team that would get blown out nightly. He would start padding his stats when the games were over by halftime
Not to mention worst defender in the nba let alone bigs like blake and Aldridge who r garbage at d. That says alot. His d was worse than harden.
Harden would turn his head on d, love would run away from the player bc he didn't want to pick up fouls so that he could pad stats later in the gameComment -

#41I don't know why everyone compares the Warriors to Miami. First the Miami big three colluded to come together in Miami. AND, 2 of Miami's big three were free agents (the best two available at the time). Warriors already had a big three. All through the draft. They added one monster player. Yes, they definitely are a "super" team. But they really only signed one star free agent. They didn't go out and gobble up every free agent available. More than a few teams had shots at the Warriors players coming out of college but passed (Curry went 7th, Klay went 11th and Green was a 2nd rounder).
I just don't like the implied super team. Like they assembled all word players. No, they drafted and developed three and were able to get another on the open market. They aren't the first team to sign an elite player in his prime as free agent.Comment -

Only thing I want to add is that at the time, lebron and wade were the best athletes by far in the league and the best 2 players
Lebron still the best today. U could argue durant 2nd but u could argue a handful of guys at 2 as well so that's another significant differenceComment -

#43KG had just as much of say in where he went as any free agent did. I thought this was common knowledge in the basketball world.
The Timberwolves and Celtics, who nearly completed a blockbuster Kevin Garnett trade before the June draft, resurrected those talks in recent days and have advanced to the verge of a megadeal that is likely to be completed later Tuesday.
The Glove & the Mailman (both HOF) collectively joined the Lakers and their other 2 HOF'ers but still failed to get a ring. This is not the first time in NBA history of players joining up, via trade negotiations or free agency. It may be "new" if your 20 years old or a casual fan who pretends to pay attention.Comment
