What's sad about Detroit is... even the hookers/whores are trash... ugly. It's like you have to settle. Anyone who has to travel to Detroit... I feel sorry for them.

Detroit motor city Michigan is a big ghetto shit hole now, kinda like Cincinnati, Ohio... Crime, drugs, abandoned houses and boarded up neglected buildings everywhere..Couldn't pay me to go visit either Moneyshot..

Everyone talking about how Detroit is on the rebound and is the next frontier for business and living. Any truth to that at all? I mean, you're not gonna get rid of all the trash ever, but is there really a comeback? Asking for a friend (seriously).

There's a few girls I know that constantly beg their husbands to take them to Detroit out to eat. Of course one of those couples... is a cop. lol So he doesn't care where he goes... and I'm sure she doesn't either. Why do I always get that VIBE to stay away from Detroit? I get it... all the time. Yeah... I'm sure things are decent around Ford Field... Comerica Park and soon to be Little Caesars Arena. But everywhere else is dead. Only people making that city any money are office/exec employees who work downtown and need to grab a bite to eat at lunch. I'm sure Chicago has more employees than Detroit... I think every major city has more employees than Detroit.

I've been downtown quite a few times during the day....how do I put it? It's probably the most less congested major city during the daytime.... out of any major city. And that's very sad.

But again... it's my opinion and the way I see it. From a business standpoint.... I wouldn't have a clue on how these businesses manage at night time and on weekends.

Sometimes I ask these women... why do you go downtown for? There's quite a few popular bars/clubs outside of Detroit.... but why downtown? They answer... because of the HISTORY. Oh... you want to become history tonight? I see.

Yeah, my hometown of St. Louis is the same way. Nobody goes downtown for anything but sports. It used to have its clubs back when I was younger, but even those aren't great anymore. They tried to revitalize it, but did a shit job and didn't have a lot of money to do it. Had the chance to really capitalize on the boom of younger people wanting to move back to urban life, but the area never became less dangerous, so it didn't take. Oh well.
