It is now time for our MLB June Betpoints Contest, and note that some rules have changed. You must make a minimum of 60 and a maximum of 90 MLB plays between Thursday, June 1st and Friday, June 30th with the contest containing Money Lines, Totals and Run Lines. Plays will now have a 1-unit Base (playing To Win if odds are "-" and .Risk if odds are "+") except for 4 optional 3-unit Best Bets. Moreover, 1500 true Betpoints (NOT free plays) will be distributed among the Top 5 finishers and the Top 5 will also receive an SBR T-Shirt (T-Shirts can only be shipped to continental USA). Standings will be based on units.

Note: If there is a tie in units, the tiebreaker will be Action Points, which is how much you beat the line by on totals and run lines only. If still tied after Action Points, the prizes will be split.

As an aside ,I always thought the American odds system of betting ( playing to win a unit on - ( lower) Odds and risking a unit on + ( higher) odds) counter intuitive. Assuming the same probability of winning, one should bet more on the higher odds not vice versa.
