At Red Rock yesterday, and it's one of the nicest in town.
    Tonight, $80
NIfty, trendy restaurants with happy hour and good service.
I go there when I got a few hundred bucks to blow.

    Then...

... $5 Uber ride to Suncoast or Rampart.
Golf course looks nice(I don't golf though)
Trendy area called Tivoli across the street from these two casinos.
      Nice shopping and trendy restaurants.

Also, these places are way better service than what you get on the strip.
      More drink comps, more discounts.
      Reasonably priced restaurants.
All of those buffets are well under $20 on Friday-Sundays.(use your player points for these)
(Personally, I haven't payed for a buffet inover two years)

        Sharp.

It's good that most people don't know this. Some good staycation shit without the animals getting in your way.

            Red Rock is pretty chill
            Lot of old people

I lice in North Las Vegas, so Green Valley is too far for me.
But I've been there twice and I can say that it's nice too.
I didn't go across the street to all tose shops, but it looked pretty nice too.

I'd recommend Santa Fe, but it's really far from the strip so I don't think tourists would be willing to go that far.
Sportsbook is upgraded, and my favorite.
Short on nice restaurants though. Just a couple.

Dont call me cheap. Las Vegas is one expensive vacation. I could go to several other cities around america that dont gouge you. Also their are gambling cities around the world that dont over charge you like vegas does. The funny thing is Las Vegas suppose to be the the city with the most hotels in it but there is no more real competition between casinos anymore as far as the customer getting decent prices they are owned by the same companies. If you want to go to a motel in Vegas there is plenty of low lifes ,scumbags ,homeless, Pimps, dealers and hookers that hangout there. There just are better motels in the u.s.

I try to keep it simple. Seems like it's easy to get a cheap room at Rio. I take the shuttle to Harrah's. Then boom you're right in front of Mirage and Caesars. Which I typically go back and forth to each sportsbook. Whichever sportsbook is giving out the most drink comps... I stay with. One time I was at Mirage book... this old lady (probably upper 50's) gave me a sh#$ load of drink comps. 12 total. Had fun flirting with the waitress turning them in. Sometimes you have to create your own entertainment on the fly.
I'm not a hard guy to please... just want some good entertainment at a cheap price. If I could get it anywhere on the strip... I'd go. But I can't ever find a good deal in walking distance.

Shot, that's a very good point. The "drink coupon" game is sort of funny:

                                              1) Some places are super-generous w/ drink-coupons. Some are miserly. If I want an action bet which will get me a drink-ticket...I ask "how much do I have to bet?" Some places will say $50 (or $20).

                                              2) If you're friendly w/ the clerk and give them a tip...they normally roll out the red-carpet. Usually more drink-coupons than u know what to do with. If I REALLY want to get a drink-ticket, I ask for one on the way out. Typically, the tip is followed up w/ a question "You want some drink-tickets?"

                                              3) At the South Point...the older broads must wonder why their line is empty...but the Young HotGirl line is 10-deep.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Yep all the Hotels on the strip charge an over night parking fee now even if you are staying and paying at that hotel.. You don't have a choice in free parking anymore.. $10 bucks a pop every day right there...

The Hotel tax fees are another $10 or $20 on top of the normal rates also that they sneak on you. Complete highway robbery all across the board...

Just bend over and take it dry when you go to Vegas these days..

i went in October, I've been to Las Vegas couple of dozen times in my life, but this was the first time I made it to GVR.
I was extremely impressed, also notied a lot of casinos in the Valley there gave you a very fair game, better than most BJ games on the strip.

If I have $1,000 to spend on a weekend get away, I'm going to Dominican Republic, Cancun, or even Miami if I only want the beach. Nobody should go to Vegas anymore for gambling. You can find the same games way closer to where you live at any casino. And sports betting, please the offshore lines are better than what's offered in vegas. The only reason to go to Las Vegas are for the shows. That's it. Otherwise, It's an overpriced shit hole.
