Players should not be allowed to be traded to rival teams. Me and my buddies have literaaly got in drunken fights watching big games on Tv becasue we have disrespected eachothers team. I know its gay but hey we are drunk and the competitive juices are flowing watching big games. then....before the hangover is even gone those players switch team. Im no sox fan but johnny damon in a yankees pinstripes????? wtf I think this will be one of those uniforms that never fit.

I don't know, the uniform fit just fine when Babe Ruth made the same switch. Damon isn't the first player to switch from the Red Sox to the Yankees and he won't be the last.

      Boston is ****ed.

No shortstop, no centerfielder, a leftfielder that doesn't want to play for them, and no management .

I'll bet Theo is laughing his ass off

theres talk right now about him being hired back by the red sox as a consultant of some kind. i guess they finaly realize that they truely need some help there. because, those 2 assclowns they have right now CO-GM'ing that team are just ruining what Theo built there. or, could it be that the red sox are just cutting payroll

I think this is no big deal...Damon still has a few big years left but I see him starting to fade in a year or two. I think he is on the decline and I think playign in the big city will take its toll on him just as it has with some other big time free agents NYY has landed.
