that is how i look at it.. dude has money.. but doesn't care.. he just wants to be with the boys.. playing a game.. and staying young as long as possible..

He isn't hurting anyone.. and if anything .. he is helping this team by bringing attention.. also his stats show he is actually contributing to the team.. so again.. he is probably having a blast..

If you could play baseball everyday at a competitive level.. and be comfortable.. why the penetrate would you do anything else..

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s official. The Tim Tebow experience will now be moving away from South Carolina while heading south to Florida. On Sunday afternoon, the New York Mets announced that Tebow is being promoted from Single-A Columbia to Advanced Single-A Port St. Lucie.

In LF? How the hell is that possible. One out of 8 chances, he fcks up in LF. Damn. I could pull that off. He's just a marketing piece. Shit, I had an error free year at 3rd base. Is he dropping cans of corn, or letting that shit roll through his legs? WTF.

He is there to put people in the seats.
From a pure baseball perspective a 29 yr old that sucks in A ball is like a unicorn. If you can't get out of A ball by 20 yrs old they let you go.

No minor league player deserves this promotion more than Tebow. The guy has been knocking the cover off the ball all season.

Tebow is a good guy and I hope he pulls off the miracle and makes it to the majors.. ....

His throwing accuracy was horrific in football.. I'd be shocked if he made it to the baseball majors to be honest.. We'll see though????

Tim Tebow has been raking for the St. Lucie Mets, the New York Mets’ Single-A affiliate, but that doesn’t mean you should expect him to be making his Major League Baseball debut anytime soon.

Rumors of Tebow’s inevitable call-up began to swirl after the former Heisman Trophy winner launched a walk-off solo home run on Thursday night. But Mets general manager Sandy Alderson told the media Friday that he doesn’t see Tebow gracing the dugout at Citi Field this season.

“Never crossed my mind until about 10 days ago when somebody said it was likely to happen,” Alderson said, per ESPN. “I don’t foresee that kind of scenario.” Tebow currently is hitting .321 since his promotion to St. Lucie and he extended his hitting streak to 12 games by going 1-for-4 on Friday night. But it doesn’t sound like the Tebow hype train will be rolling into New York anytime soon despite his hot bat.

They need to put Manziel, Kaepernick, Pablo Sandoval, Tim Tebow, Fedor Emelienenko, and Nick Kyrgios all in a house together for athletes trying to resurrect their careers. Maybe throw in Hope Solo and Megan Rapinhoes in there too to make it interesting. Without a doubt would be the most entertaining reality show ever. Solo could cook roast beef for everyone the first night.
