I don't know much about basketball at all, but i do know one thing, Distractions are huge in pro-sports, The death of the Boston Celtic's player's sister would have been a huge distraction imo, so with the injury to Chicago's key player happening at the same time as the distraction ''eased'' up could actually be the reason for the swing in the series not only the injury to Rondo..just my 2 cents..

The one thing that scares me is the rebounding edge. There is no greater mismatch in the NBA and the Bulls matchup well with Boston. If Rondo was playing they would have swept them.
