Easy way to get flagged for gambling, not worth the risk. Get a buffer (or two) in between.

I've used ItBit and it was about the same as coinbase. I also use Poloniex as an intermediary which hasn't been mentioned in this string. I don't have any personal experience getting banned from coinbase but many people have mentioned problems in past posts.
Could anyone explain how coinbase knows that you are depositing to a sportsbook? Do they have certain wallets flagged as sportsbooks? Whenever I deposit they always give me a different wallet address so how would coinbase know?

Also, you are not alone, I once had a few whiskeys and deposited straight from coinbase. Nothing came of it

Raiders posted a site a while back I think that would show where or from your transaction was coming or going just by inputting btc address

Is using the usd wallet option on coinbase bad? I withdrew from my phone and it used that option.

Are you saying you withdrew usd from coinbase to a bank account? Please clarify.
Coinbase straight to sportsbook = bad
sportsbook straight to coinbase = bad
Anything else you are doing with coinbase should be fine.

If you requested this morning you'd normally receive it this afternoon.

Do you know what to do once you receive it in your blockchain wallet?

Blockchain.info might make you do 2-step verification but that's no big deal if you have a smart phone. btc is very easy to move and the fees are very minimal, like a buck or two. When you transfer your btc to usd and then wire that usd to your bank there will be fees. I transferred $2000 worth of btc to coinbase recently and it cost $30 in wire fees.
Another option is to get a coinbase vi*a card. I did this and it has worked out awesome for me. With the card you can spend your btc just like usd at any location that accepts vi*a. You never have to sell your btc and you never have to wire it to your bank.

                                            Email address? Huh?

If you're moving your coins from blockchain to coinbase you get the address from coinbase, and you send it from blockchain. What are you having trouble with?

Edit: Nevermind. I see you figured it out.

Chico---if you figure it out -let me know---I see what your saying---Blockchain wants an address to send to coinbase....then the coinbase request wants to know the address its coming from.....After you send from block does it show auto in coinbase or do you have to request it.

Glad to hear you worked out the Blockchain to Coinbase transfer.

Which site is asking for an email address and what's stopping you from giving them yours? Or do you mean you think they are asking for a receiver email address like PayPal does?

If it's the second one I am guessing you have got confused somewhere as bitcoin doesn't use email addresses to identify wallets.

I have zero exposure/experience with bitcoin but this interests me.

So from what I gather (follow me here please, just trying to make sure I got everything right), I can create accounts at blockchain and coinbase, then buy some btc, transfer it to blockchain, then transfer to heritage. If I happen to win enough to withdraw, I can transfer it back to blockchain and have the balance put on a v card that also works at ATM's where I can withdraw cash, completely bypassing my bank?

How does this work come tax season? Is it worth mentioning to my accountant that I invested in btc?
