many teams with great players and/or great coaches have gone without rings

pops has 5 of them over 20 years so with significantly different teams, and never missed the playoffs, its impossible to have good teams for 5 years straight in any sport, let alone for 20

and ironic coming from a liverpool fan, most overrated team in the premier league in the last 30 years

I'll help Pop out, adjustments he needs to make are pretty clear.

- Don't play David Lee. He will be useless in this series. If anything, use Dendmon or Bertans who are more agile and can block shots.

- Stop going so big. Matchup with Houston and do what they do better. No reason having Aldridge or David Lee guard Ariza. SA has plenty of guards and wings, use them. Jonathan Simmons could be an X Factor in this series. Pop constantly has two bigs in the game, but it's not like he is trying pound them down low.

Definitely don't play David Lee. This series is not for him. Dedmon and Simmons are going to be key in this series if Spurs want to win. Pop should start Dedmon in game 2. As much as Aldridge blows, I agree with you. Give him the ball and let him go at Anderson.
