I'm going contrarian on this one

Teams in the lottery tank and sit down players and top teams rest their players for the playoffs

Seems like the system is broken...not the teams individually

Make it so only 6 teams make the playoffs and you need every win in the regular season with 2 byes per conference like the NFL....but you can't do that because they want all of the money for these long drawn out playoffs with 6-8 seeds that have no business being playoff teams

I don't know what you can do about shit teams tanking but make it so that everyone has a decent shot at the lottery or something

In short...make the regular season worth a shit. Teams have no incentive to win every game and that's a system problem
