    53% over time
I try to be realistic about my gambling and only bet when I can rationalize in my mind that I have an advantage. I'm sitting on the beach in Aruba and have refused to throw dice here because the rules are pretty bad and I love dice.
If you're with a decent sports service that can hit 52% to 54% over many games and use a 5% vig biookmaker that's about the best thing going. Is there a mathematician out there that could tell me how many hundreds of games it would take to remove most of the randomness of games over time?
    Thanks,
    Potter

Sportsbetting is miniscule as far as trying to make money

Most winners are so small for amount of volume they put in

There are no decent sports services. They are all scams. If they weren't scams, they wouldn't sell you the picks for a price that was less than you would make betting them.

I have accounts with 5 different books. About half the games are not uniform among them all and I'm always on the correct side of that half point. I use a sports service that has been around for decades and I know for a fact that he gives the same games to everyone I've been with him a couple hundred games an he's a bit over 52% depending on how you weigh the star system he uses. I was just wondering if that's statistically significant after only a couple of hundred games.

Wow, this is pretty sad I was hoping this was a true forum where people could exchange ideas on betting sports. That's why I even used my real name. It's been pretty much insults coming back at me.

Mikey you should probably just scrap this username and start over in the newbie forum.

Sitting on the beach in Aruba, only has three posts, but all of a sudden a light bulb comes on to post a math question on SBR.
