I know you won't hear me, but, buy some litecoin, major announcements on the weeks to come from the devs, wait for the hype, it will happen eventually, cash out when you feel uncomfortable, there's a pretty good chance you'll get a fat roll for baseball season

If it wants to be a commodity - transactions on good money need to be instant transactions. I am fine with clearing everything from the bank but when we send it to a sportsbook or the sportsbook sends it to us - it needs to be be bang bang - we exchange it to USD. In addition to that - what about downside protection from a short sell. If it is going to take 45 minutes to clear it and out money is in limbo - if we could be short on an exchange - we would not be at risk.

But, when we withdraw from a sportsbook - we don't know when they pull the trigger - could be anywhere from a half hour to two days. A text alert when they sent it would be nice.

Don't get me wrong - it is a beautiful transfer system. But, if it is possible to lose 900 bucks on a 5 coin transfer in 45 minutes - Bitcoin is garbage for a withdrawal method.

Buy and hold is the best strategy, sell when it's pumped, but don't trade every day/week

I remember when Bitcoins first came out it was worth $40 per bitcoin. I missed out on investing on them at the time.

No gunner...when bitcoins first came out for trading they were $0.008 and 5 days, the price grew 1000%, rising to $0.08 for 1 bitcoin.

But after looking at today's prices, it looks like even at $40 it was a steal.
