continue a threat for snow for much of NW Oregon and SW Washington
this morning with showers decreasing this afternoon and evening.
High pressure moves over the area tonight and Thursday and will hold

all that matters is how people react to snow and they react to it like you wouldn't believe in the greater Portland, OR area. People will abandon their cars on the 405 bridge when it gets too "dangerous." Snow chains are required on all state highways today, which is bizarre imho.

plane just landed 1 pm Pacific Time. Wonder how many blazer fans stay home tonight? News saying that public transportation is having huge delays and that fans will have a real hard time getting to the Moda Center. Can't see a lot of people driving either.

We just aren't ready for this weather. We average half an inch a year. When you get 6 inches and everyone drives sedans without AWD it is a mess. We don't carry chains and studded tires.

10+" at my place about 15 minutes south of Portland. People here do suck driving but this was a pretty bad storm.

I'm all over the Cavs to win huge here. Last game POR v CLE Kevin Love lit up the Blazers for 30+ in the first qtr and the Cavs coasted the rest of the way. CLE is so much better than POR it's not even funny. CLE coming off a disappointing loss last night. POR stuck traveling all night. I have to think Cavs run away with this.
