Chargers would have been so much better if Keenan Allen was healthy.

The Chargers are moving to L.A. and will be competing with an equally bad team, the Rams. Both need HC's that will attract fans. The Charchumps finished at 5-11 and the Lambs at 4-12. Neither team has anything to brag about. Neither team's 2017 schedule has much to offer in the way of great machups. Washington will play both teams in the Coliseum.
Basically the fickle LA fans will back the team that is in the playoff race. If neither get that far, they will back USC, who also plays in the Coliseum and has 7 home games next season and a potential powerhouse returning. The Chargers and the Rams had better get a star HC to sign on.

as a person who lived in LA when there was NFL football out there, couldn't agree with this statement more.....lots of transplants in So Cal so no real fan base.....plus so many other things to do on a sunday afternoon when its 75 degrees anyway

The Chargers shitty owners deserve to get shunned in LA.
If they think the support here was bad with the question of where they will be playing next season, just wait until they go to LA and see how they support a team from San Diego.

Many are fed up here..are they staying or going? The majority of the real fans here think the owners are a joke and will not support them if they bail.
Personally, if they go, I'll probably still keep tabs but nowhere near as much as in the past.

a lot has to do with the owners. I think you underestimate how disliked the Spanos family is out here.
The Chargers actually have a lot of talented young players on the roster. It would be a real shame if they left. I have mixed feelings, I want them to stay but if they left it would probably save me heartache and pain for the rest of my life lol.

The ownership is a joke. Spanos has never thought of the Chargers as a priority. Agree that if the move to LA they won't have better luck at a fan base. Ive always been a fan of the mission valley location so hopefully they do strike a deal there. The downtown option on the ballot was a bad option for the fans, tourism and the city and that's why it failed in the ballot. SD wants a new stadium but the last idea was a bad option
