people will believe what they want. They have people like you who will spread the lies. CNN also. Sigh.

Unemployment is closer to 12%. Everyone knows this.

Not once in the 10 years has GDP gone over 3%. First time in U.S. History can a 2 term president lay claim to that fact.

Doubled the with nothing to show for it. 13 million more on food stamps. Million more in poverty. Obamacare is a national disaster.

And yet when gas prices were high a few years ago, it was horrible and Obama was blamed.

Your hypothesis is only part of the equation and there is not the direct correlation that you suggest.

But I also don't think higher gas prices are bad.

The economy IS and has been growing at an increasing rate. It's been obvious to all paying attention. It is quite possible, maybe probable, that Trump won't completely fukk that up in the short-term, unless he gets us in a foreign quagmire nightmare. Tax cuts may even heat that up more short-term. Longer term the deficit continues to explode.

But absent the caveat that we have to watch for Trump killing us, I continue to be bullish on the market for the foreseeable future. Have been for several years. There will likely be yield signs though within 2-3 years.

Those figures about participation rate and raw number not in labor force is utterly meaningless. There are more retired and older people than ever. Baby boomer are heading into their 70's. Of course there are a ton of retired people. Young people also stay in school longer now. There are a host of rosters. If you don't account for those and similar things, your numbers are utterly meaningless.

I know loads and loads of people unemployed in '08-09. Talented people. I literally don't know anyone now who wants a job and can't find one.

ya its all irrelevant no matter what anyone says because you know better. With one exception, if Obama says something it must be true and you will fight to the end of the Earth to back him up.

for some reason... feel 19,500 is a good time to take some profits

however could go close to 20,000 yr end
