I do not like bourbon but I love scotch. Bourbon a little too sweet for me.

Yeah I am a bourbon guy as well.

Haven't acquired the taste for scotch.

If you can't go a day without sports gambling I suggest only betting really small on iffy games if you must be entertained... Bet bigger on solid bets..

I'd say that's a good start if you want to make this a long lasting hobby.. Also don't wake up one morning and say I'm gonna bet big on this one play, then you lose and then start chasing.. That's one way to blow your entire bankroll and maybe even get in debt..

There will be days that you lose money.. Let it go... Start over new the next day and forget quickly... Never dwell on your loses...

I've been sports gambling for 20 years now.. I'm still standing.. Friends I know gambled and try to do what I do and end up in GA...No discipline and don't know when to put the brakes on..

Most important word in gambling is DISCIPLINE that goes with any potential vice in your life.. Alcohol, drugs, and other compulsions...etc...

I've been a successful handicapper for the better part of 10 years. The reason I've been successful was giving my money to the books for the previous 5 and got sick of losing. I have my own math models I use in Football. College Hoops is easily my most profitable investments. This is a GRIND. You have to trust your methods and stick to what is successful for you. I learned by donating about 70k to various bookmakers. I think the Hard Rock added a floor from my donations...

Only bet cfb and nascar, the things I know. At this point in my life, I think sports are boring as shit so it's easy to not bet nonsense just cause it's on tv.
