I had a miracle cover on the Raiders game today. It was a 3 teamer and paid $600. Raiders scored a meaningless late TD to go over.

I also remember back in the day I had the over in the Atlanta/Cleveland game. Vick has the ball at the goal line and can't score. A td would of paid me $2200 because it was part of parlay. That was alot of money to me back then....heck that is alot of money to me now.

Worst o/u I've ever lost was college basketball. I had the under, it was under by 1 point, VCU was down double digits with less than 20 seconds left, their opponent (can't remember who) running out the clock. VCU was conceding the game, except 1 guy. Naturally that guy got a steal and layup to put it over, and then the clock was run out. Also been backdoored by half court buzzer beaters in double double digit games. This one was the worst though because everybody cept the one guy was conceding the game.

You play a juiced up alt line and feel robbed? No reason you should... and it is very common for two teams to score a bunch in the first half, and then very little in the 2nd... or vise versa

I had a CBB under a few years ago that stayed under through the first two OTs and went over in the third OT. That one always sticks in my mind for some reason even though there have been many bad beats since.

We always remember and dwell on the bad beat stories but never the ones that go in our favor. The human condition I guess.

I remember that giants Vikings playoff game. Those were the undergrad betting days. Also been backdoor es by garbage time 3s and half court shots but the one that killed me mentally was cavs/pistons back when lebron was ascending and detroit was a championship powerhouse with sheed, billups, rip, big Ben etc.

Playoff game series and detroit is a double digit favorite against just about everyone. Lebron starts getting hot and the refs allow the patented travels and one sided calls bc cavs down by nearly 20. Lebron scores like 7 straight to close out the 1h and blatantly steps over the 3 point line to hit a 3 aND cover the 1h spread. Lost a couple grand on det 1h and proceeded to lose the rest of that regular season profits on tilt in the 2h but the way in which it happened during that David stern era branded me to this day

There are only three types of wagers. Winners, losers and pushes. If you win, you made the right wager. If you lose, you made the wrong wager. It is that simple. There is no such thing as a "bad" beat. You lose because you make the wrong wager. Stop making excuses. That is all a lot of you people know how to do when you lose.

If your bet loses you "made the wrong wager"? Umm not every smart bet wins nor does every bad bet lose. Of course there are bad beats, I don't think this qualifies as one though.

I had the under 2.5 in soccer. It is 0-0 until 90th minute and then 3 goals in injury time.

I've taken a share of bad beats but did catch a ridiculous break. Had a 7-team round robin. Had 5 teamer a, 6 teamers, etc. Went 6-1 which paid out a couple thousand or so but difference between 6-1 and 5-2 is a LOT of parlays. The last win was an over where team a was running out clock. Double digit win, nothing to play for and was down by 1.5. Team b got technical foul with 1 second left and dude hit both for over.

yes all they did was run 3 plays for a first down every time tv couldnt even get a commercial break

i know when they scored early in the 3rd you thought you were done.

another terrible beat was last year or 2 years ago. seattle against the white sox game was 0-0 in extras and it wound up going over 7.5 or 8.5
