I feel like the curse only takes effect in freakish fashion, i.e. Bartman, whatever.

Last year wasn't curse ridden, they were bested by a better team. This year if things hold up they're getting bested by a hotter team.

Heyward has just had a horrible yea. Didn't seem bad at the time. Cards were offering him more money.

Cubs should win next 3. Manager will make adjustments and teach these guys to hit the ball in play. Have to go back to fundamentals and correct batting stance and swing.
