Anyone have any info on if Cam Newton is playing this week?

Well he was seen riding a segway-like scooter through Charlotte with no helmet so it seems like he is alright. But then again, its Cam and he doesn't always have the best train of thought

Ya, I saw that but I can't find any reports yet to say if it looks like he is or isnt. Even watched the fantasy show on ESPN and they said nothing.

Newton (concussion) was limited at practice Wednesday, Bryan Strickland of thePanthers' official site reports.
Newton hasn't received clearance from an independent neurologist, hence the reason he wasn't a full participant. In fact, one of the final stages of the concussion protocol is capped activity on the field, which included reps for Newton with both the first-team offense and scout team, according to Steve Reed of the Associated Press. Backup quarterback Derek Anderson took on the remaining work with the first-teamers, but those could dry up soon enough if Newton gets the all-clear before the end of the week.

I think I took him 2nd or 3rd round. Guy he driving a scooter around town without a helmet but can't participate in a full practice give me a break. Shows how pussy this league has become. At least I have Prescott if this clown can't go
