Ubaldo was not the right choice for this moment. Too unpredictable all year. Yes, he's been the hot hand in the second half for the O's, but he's either had incredible games or has gotten blown up early. Any other pitcher would have been a better option for that moment.

Baseball manager is the easiest coaching job in pro sports. You don't even need to draw up plays. All you have to do is put your best pieces in the game.

When it's a sudden death situation (meaning you give up a run, and you lose) - that necessitates pitching your best pitchers until you run out of them. If anything, Britton should have been used starting in the bottom of the 9th. Again, sudden death - use your best guys and work backwards.

You never know about things the managers know about there ball club maybe it was a wrong decision who knows
