I watch baseball all the time cuz I love it period, but yes the playoffs are even an added level. Can't wait. Play ball!!!

the pitching slows down even more in playoffs granted last 2 innings that pause and slow adds drama but for first 5 -6 innings it really bogs down at times. also TV coverage with the announcers shutting up now and the different shots around the ballpark only, how that's produced late in tight spots adds to a good show. credit for that. overall l A-

hockey playoffs for me off the charts drama and excitement A+.

The weather is best of year and mlb got it all primetime playoffs with teams loaded with mega superstars.

Do you consider every team still playing as in the playoffs? Or do you have to win wild card game to be considered in the playoffs?

They consider the wild card game as part of the playoffs. To me it's just a one game playoff like when div winners used to play the monday game to get in. It's a joke to tell your fans you made the playoffs unless you win the wild card game.

i will never understand what the logic behind a 200 game season and a one and done wildcard game is.

Not only is every pitch important but it effects the next one in regards to pitch selection, defensive positioning, the running game, and offensive strategy/approach. Also everyone (coaches,players, and fans) has a chance to absorb what happened and think about the next thing that follows makes it a must watch for me. I know a lot of people are bored by baseball but is there any better sport to think along with the players and coaches? Add the intensity of the playoffs and I can't get enough of it.

Love basketball, but half the games in the playoffs are blowouts. Even in a 7 game series theres usually 3 blowouts.

Baseball usually awesome but it's hard to act like there is much drama when 2 series were sweeps and the other two will most likely be over in 4. Hopefully the next round there will be some actual drama
