The Carolina Panthers social media team wasn’t about to let FS1 and FOX Sports radio host Colin Cowherd walk all over quarterback Cam Newton on Friday after the former MVP had some reservations over the team asking him to run less earlier this week.

Cowherd, while on “The Herd,” had some serious opinions about Newton’s desire to continue to make plays with his feet but the Panthers were far from in agreement with his sentiment.

The response from the Panthers’ social media team is unlikely to stop Cowherd from continuing to make hot takes, but he may think twice before making another one aimed at Carolina’s star passer.

Cowherd is in the how many listeners/viewers can he round up game.
If somebody listens to Cowherd just to fade him, or ridicule his picks/opinions, guess what? He did his job.

I can name two other OAP's that are genius like that too.
Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh.

One thing I hate about shows like his is when the sidekick is like a robotic extension of the host, not sure that girl on there is exactly like that, but there's that guy on the radio who has the scraggly voice and his sidekicks are nothing but yes men always agreeing with him.
