I realize they got embarrassed by Louisville last weekend but this is still a quality team even though they will be without Josh Sweat. USF isn't a cupcake but I don't see why they are getting this much love from Vegas.

There will probably be more Seminole fans in Tampa than USF fans and Jimbo has a pretty strong record of getting his guys locked back in following a loss.

I don't know. USF looks legit this year and can score points and FSU can't stop anyone. I know it'll be a neutral site atmosphere but I think FSU has some major holes that have gotten exposed the last two weeks.

USF has put up some points, yes, but they have played Towson, N Illinois and Syracuse so its not really as impressive when you look at it that way. I could see if they rolled up 35 or 40 early like some other teams have done on their weaker opponents so far but, without having seen the games and looking at the box scores, it's been a relatively consistent 14 here and here. I'm not a personal fan of Jimbo but reality is he's a pretty good coach so I give them that advantage as well. Nothing against Willie Taggart.

I might also add that USF returns the same QB and backfield from last year. Passed for under 200 and ran for under 100 in a 34-14 loss. Dalvin Cook torched their defense for 266 on the ground and while the Bulls did win a lot of games last season they lost to the Noles, and Maryland, Memphis, Navy and Western Kentucky so I can't call them the Cinderella strong team like a Houston or Louisville seems to be just yet. Fade if you must, but I like FSU here.

Wasn't this game played at FSU last year, and wasn't USF actually competitive in this game until the 4th quarter? I remember getting a text from my buddy who is an FSU fan in the third quarter about them being in a tight battle. And that's when USF sucked last year....before they got good.

This sounds awfully familiar though, doesn't it? This was the same argument against Louisville last week... they hadn't played anybody, they looked great against crap teams, but would come down to earth once they faced a real opponent like FSU. How'd that turn out?

I don't believe South Florida has the defense to embarrass FSU like Louisville did, but I'm fairly confident their offense will mount consistent drives against the Noles. This game could very well be a one possession contest, I'm not buying the notion that Florida State will come out and lay the wood against "inferior" USF.

FSU's offensive line is horrendous. If they have any pride left, they'll take it out on USF. Their strength & conditioning coordinator got popped for a DUI in August and is suspended for half the season. Gotta wonder if they're missing him. They looked gassed vs Louisville.
