These baseballs have to be juiced.
I'm going back and forth between a few games, at Fenway, with the wind blowing dead in at 16 mph (gusting to over 20 mph) Trumbo crushed a 450 foot moon shot over the Green Monster clear out of Fenway Park on to Landsdown Street,

I get the fact Trumbo is a very big and strong boy, and the ball wasn't a BP meatball, OK Porcello left it out a little over the plate, but nobody, nobody in these conditions hits one out like that, either Trumbo is on the juice or the ball is juiced.

10 minutes later I'm watching Braves / Marlins for fantasy purposes ( I own Jose Fernandez)
Fernandez throws Nick Markakis, you know, the guy they call the 11 million dollar singles hitter a filthy off speed yakker at the knees and on the wrist and Markakis yanks it out of the park.

That pitch was nasty, so dirty I don't think Mantle or Ruth gets it to the warning track no less out of the park.

I've seen other batted balls behave unusual also.

Now I normally don't pay attention to Oliver Stone conspiracy kooks who tell me the ball that Piazza hit out on the famous 9/11 game was juiced, the famous Kirk Gibson home run when Vin Scully said "In the year o the improbable, the impossible has happened" kooks say that ball was juiced, I don't know now, I took another look at that Gibson homer, that was a weak ass sweep swing Kirk put on that pitch.

Wade Boggs (another kook) says the balls used in games vary from day to day, Boggs says (he's the guy who when homered calls it a mistake) he mashed a ball that would have gone out of any park once settled into a right fielders glove in shallow right, looked at and felt the ball said it was as mushed as a week old grapefruit.

No, did not bet Fernandez, he's one of my starters in the nationals (fantasy) I know he's unbeatable at home, not so good on the road, I'm the consummate baseball geek, but the pitch Markakis put out of the park tied him up, he's singles guy, he has virtually no home run power, he can park one every couple of weeks or so, but not a power threat.

I saw the Trumbo homerun, wind was dead for about 10 minutes then picked up right after. A couple other balls would have been long gone but wind knocking balls down like mutumbo. 1-0 6th inning now.

Adams hit a shot it the first inning that would of been way out if wind wasn't blowing in.

Corked bats is the reason. Balls are ok.

Yeah Pence hit one damn near off the scoreboard @ Wrigley the other day and the wind was howling in. Something is up...who knows I'd agree a lot more likely it's a factor other than player substances.
