What makes someone a "high roller" in a Sportsbook?
Spent the weekend in Vegas at the Westgate and was pleasantly surprised by their gorgeous, refurbished Sportsbook! It was even worth the fact that I was constantly getting accosted by saleswomen trying to get me to attend a time share presentation.

My one complaint is the complete lack of available seating. I am not a HUGE player but I sure as heck bet more than the guys taking over the place so they can play3 $5 parlays. So my question is this: How much do you have to bet to be a "high roller" with special access to the reserved seats? I know I am not high enough, just wondering.

A high roller is someone who bets and loses a lot.

A sharp is someone who bets and wins a lot.

Most books balk at 2k bets. Books love guys who are dart chuckers and just bet for action.

Well, like Caesar's and Bellagio - nickels and they hassle you for a players card - they want to know who you are. I would come right out and ask them at the Westgate?
