USA Men's Basketball in another dog fight with France
Was up 16, lead now cut to 6. Can the 1 on 1, ISO, Hero ball win this one or will France without Tony Parker pull off the upset?

USA wins in another lazy ass effort. Lines are very inflated. Woman's basketball player's much more dominant.

I don't know. Can they sustain this shit show? Horrible defense, no movement on offense. I think they get upset shortly.

Not sure, they were 20 point faves though. Guys are playing like it's an All Star Game. Klay Thompson had a good night with 30 points and 7/13 from 3 but their defense is garbage.

Ya, they are just too talented to lose. They'll turn it on when they need to

Carmelo Anthony, earlier in the week, praised his leadership abilities (yep, his own). He's leading them down the toilet.

Do you see any other teams playing 33% FT players? Go to any YMCA right now and all the players there shoot more than 33% FTs. Hell..even the Mexican janitors who clean up after hours shoot better than 33% FTs.

Bingo. When he drains 3s at an insane rate (which he did in 2012), he's a help. But he's a terrible, lazy defender. Same for Cousins, whose game isn't translating well to international ball. The 2014 WC team had it right. They had active, hustling bigs like Ken Faried. Even put Mason Plumlee on the team. Guys rotated, played good D, and rolled. With Cousins, Melo, and Irving in the starting lineup, you've got too many bad defenders out there, and you don't need five scorers on the floor. Melo was the primary problem on D today with Cousins a close second.

I think they were counting on DJ being this year's Faried, but he's too much of a fruitcake. I agree the starting frontcourt is horrible. Irving is horrible as well.

Of course you would, America is a big country. If the former Yugoslavia re-formed, or if the USSR re-formed, or heck if Europe formed it would be more competitive.
