    So makes it so frustrating is that we have the best league in the world , and possibly have had some good teams (euro 96 and wc98) but we just seem to bottle it or lose at penalties

    WC 98 was that the one against Argentina cant remember.

    Actually we also blew it in Italia 90 with the penalty shoot out,had we won that one wed have been in the WC Final. Friggin frustrating to say the least.

    Correct about 98 with beck ham getting sent off against Argentina , and yes in 1990 we blew a penalty shoot out and even 86 with that cheating argie bastard maradona

    I would take Germany.

    Portugal at +1800 is decent value. Ronaldo (is he healthy?) makes them a threat every game, but outside of 4 or 5 players, their roster is not great.
