of course and he should take the money. bulls have to fill those seats. far more important than pretending to compete for a meaningless championship. you get it, it's all about stirring up interest so people will pay to see these alleged superstars play and buy beer. it's just a show, a circus of guys throwing up three's which they can do blindfolded. fans ooh and aah but it is so easy for them to entertain the masses. the league just wants to get the right combination of popular players placed in cities that will draw fans. with 30 teams it is not about winning for about 26 of them.

Not sure why they got Rondo. It's obvious he doesn't work anywhere except the couple years in Boston. If I were the Bulls I would have signed Augustin, or damn near anyone over Rondo. Let a veteran start, and develop Valentine. No shooters except big guys for the Bulls, it seems. Well, Valentine was good in college and Jimmy is decent now from deep. Still, just a weird roster that looks good on paper maybe, but doesn't seem like a fit.

Definitely fishy. He leaves Miami because of a $7 million difference over two years and goes to his "hometown" team that lost most of it's starters and won't be in contention, not even in a weak-ass East? You can bet that during Lebron and Wade's recent vacation together they cooked this up. Lebron owes Wade for him taking less to make the Heatles happen, but couldn't sign him outright, so Wade goes somewhere that would most likely be a trade friendly partner during the season. I fully expect Wade to be on the Cavs roster at some point next season, unless he gets injured.

The funny thing is Calderon is a much better fit than Rondo to play with Wade and Butler. Neither plays any defense these days anyway. Now obviously nobody would ever choose Calderon over Rondo lol.
