            Would love to... can't

Played there all the time until April of 2011

Can't play at Bovada, either... Bovada aced NY'ers few years ago

Use to play rush poker on Full Tilt

Oh yeah, fuk Lederer & Ferguson

NY Senate passes ipoker bill... NY Assembly "runs out of time" (<---actual excuse by politicians) and shelves it until next year

Casino opening up near me in 2017 and in Springfield, Mass in 2017, too.
Save me all kinds of time instead of going to Turning Stone and Foxwoods like I've been doing for years.

            FUK EM ALL

p.s. -- Pokerstars has more traffic, goldy

Online poker in the US is dead. But I get to pass a lottery billboard every day of some hot Puerto Rican chic named Maya saying "if they knew how much the lottery helped students they'd play it even more!". Fukk off Maya. Nobody gives a fukk about playing the lotto for the students. I hope you get hot carled in college

Online poker is dead solely cuz our gov't killed it. It didn't die a natural death. U.S. online Poker's story should be on "Forensic Files" -- cuz it was murdered.

IF there ever came a day when it was all legal and you had Harrah's group, etc. in the mix rolling out platforms (where you play online, get comps/cashouts at casino) and money was as easy peasy to get in & out like the old days of Neteller, etc. AND everybody got to play from everywhere and the player pools weren't limited to in-state and that kinda bullshit... WELL, you'd see that poker would spring right back to life online with the recreational/fishy players back to donate and playing for fun.

C'mon, we all gotta know peeps (I sure do) that use to love playing online poker in 2000's that weren't very good but would donate on the regular and played for fun (drinking away on weekends dumping fairly big $) -- the sites were littered w/these types of rec/fishy players. I had a friend like that; never listened to me on how to play, just enjoyed playing for his recreation, had the $ to lose. BUT, when Neteller went poof so did he and a zillion others like him on the poker sites; moving money became too much of a hassle they just said "fukk it" and moved on, spending their disposal income somewhere else.

Make it LEGAL with ease of use w/monies and poker pulls a Lazarus of sorts online; although I don't expect our politicians to pull their heads out their asses and do much of anything anytime soon. B & M casinos/card rooms is where it's at for poker these days and for forseeable future. Never any shortage of donks @ the casinos I go to. Those donks would gladly play online if they easily could.

I always thought online poker helped brick & mortar. There have been several poker rooms closed in Florida the past 5 years. Not many opening. The times I've gone to a casino, the games are weak in volume. It's a cash cow for everyone if they do it right.

Im hoping one day the DFS sites will make themselves useful and push to legalize poker. It's going to be a while though

Yeah, poker begets more poker. Symbiotic relationship: online and B&M each help one another, in general.

Just imagine if you could play online then get comped room/meals at the B & M casino for your play (stuff like that; or play (x) amount online then get free B & M tourney entry, or vice versa... etc.). I *know* the business peeps can easily figure out these ideas, got to get the asshole politicians outta the way. It's 100% a cash cow all around if the free market was allowed to operate with poker.

And... not sure where you're playing but the poker rooms @ Turning Stone & Foxwoods do just fine; again, can't wait for the casino that's opening along the Mohawk River cuz it's run by the same group that runs Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh and I think that's run very well (played there a number of times, have family near Pitt). The one in Springfield is by the MGM group and that's gonna be great for me cuz I'm out that way a lot (guess it won't open until 2018 now, wtf).

I have very little to zero faith that the DFS biz guys are gonna do jackshit for poker -- they'll see it as competition and not supplemental (as they should). They already proved with their asinine-advertising-onslaught debacle (that put them front & center in the spotlight when they should've been laying low raking in the $) well, they've proven they might not be the sharpest tools in the shed in the big picture business sense.

BOTTOM LINE: Online poker got brutally murdered.

It got it's life cut short in a fashion like her:

and didn't die of natural causes like this guy:

I'm still waiting for Nancy Grace to get all over this story.....

I will never understand the rank hypocrisy in the US government.

Especially (but not solely) on the republican side as they always claim to be the party of small government and personal responsibility. I know why they do it (because of the religious right and the BM-Casino lobby) but I just do not understand how they can actually stand up say they are for these values.

                        Absolutely bullshit in my opinion.

I have to disagree CanuckG, I found P.S. not as profitable as Bodog/Bovada.
By limiting 4 tables max per player allows more casual players than the grinders that lives in P.S.

bodog used to have like a hidden rakeback program.

I emailed back in the day but wasn't put on and never heard anything else about it.

                                does anyone have bovada rakeback?

Try 5 dimes rake back. 27% credited every Wednesday at 11 am.

I usually get sent links to some shitty casino bonus with Every promotional email I have sent Bovada. After about 10 years, I've finally gotten them to email me promotions...but 9 times out of ten it's the same shitty casino bonuses or notice of a cool new poker tournament...or a notice of something like the Super Bowl going on

These things you've gotten are shitty simply because there's ZERO COMPETITION in the marketplace. If Micky D's was the only game in town we'd be paying $5 beaners for an apple pie (er, what they call an apple pie).

Let's get Harrah's, MGM, et al in the online poker marketplace and let's see what kinda promos we're offered then.

Bovada poker software is garbage ....once they got rid of the names it went down hill.....they don't even offer the bonuses anymore ....they were usually go for 1 or 2 monthly random bonuses I havent seen 1 in over 2 years from them....hope the money they saved on not doing bonuses anymore would of fix the lagging on that horrible site.
