I haven't seen a game this bad in years. Both pitchers are chirping at him. Everything on the black is a ball. A joke. He must be fixing for the over cause everything's a ball.

Lester is yelling expletives into the camera every time he comes off the mound toward Cooper. He's got like 80 pitches thru 4 innings and he hasn't been wild. They've all been right there on the black for balls all night. Niese isn't getting any strike calls either. He's up in the 60's. Wow this whole crew is bad. They're reviewing a call @ 2B right now where they called a dude out that was clearly safe on replay. Where do they get these f'in guys.

Ramon DeJesus is the 2B ump that just got embarrassed on an overturned call via challenge.

He's done that before. It's almost unfair.

Long Ball Bryant. This would be quite an impressive win if the Cubs pull this one off considering how Cooper was squeezing Lester bad early in the game.

How bout that play by Baez at 3B. Dude does it all. I remember I was watching a minor league game one time and I was like who's this Baez dude, he can rake and then boom here he is in majors looking like a 5 tool player.

He still has a lot of learning to do at the plate, but his combination of raw power, athleticism and glove just about anywhere on the diamond is rare. Still needs to calm down his swing.

Has Baez ever been hit in the jaw like Stanton was? I noticed him and Heyward and some other guys around the league like Molina all wearing the jaw piece on their helmets now. I'm pretty sure all of those guys haven't been hit in the face before. Is it just preventative?

It's amazing how the same exact pitches that were balls for Lester and Niese in the first 3 innings, we're suddenly strikes for Melancon and Rondon in the 8th and 9th. Great umpiring as usual by Eric Cooper.
