Larry bird didn't have the fitness regimen etc they have now. 1984 to 2016 is 32 years. Plus I'm sure they take supplements etc...curry won't keep up that percentage forever...one hand injury he will change.

3's were just an after thought in Birds era, but he is still the most over rated 3 point shooter of all tI ever. He barely shot them in games. Just won contests and was a great general shooter and all round player

Agree on that. Having athlete parents has to increase the odds of making it by more than 50. Nevermind parents that actually made it to the same pro league. Its no coincidence the coaches kids are usually the stars.
