Books bumped the line up a couple points knowing most will take Golden State off the loss in Game 3. Expect a very similar game to what we saw on Saturday night. Portland feeds off the energy of the crowd and makes shots.
To be fair, Portland has outplayed Golden State for a good chunk of this series. Outside of the Game 1 domination, the Blazers were in control for the first 3 quarters of Game 2 and all of Game 3.
This series is going to be a struggle for the Warriors. You don't just lose a player like Curry and continue to roll. Thompson is very good. He's got a nice stroke and is an above average defender. But he's not a guy who can really create his own shot. Most of his points are the result of screens both on and off the ball. He's not a 1 on 1 player.
Look for the Blazers to win Game 4 and make this series a lot more interesting than people thought it would be. I like Warriors to win in 6 after Portland ties it up Monday night.
