LA Stories
I've lived in So Cal all but 3 years of my life and LA proper for 20 years. There are some funny times when you just see TMZ like shit and here is my thread for it. Obv don't Saloon this shit.
Today Matt Barnes and D Fish were at my son's pee wee football game. They stood on opposite sidelines and no fights broke out. Barnes wore some -- yoga pants. We won. SFO
Feel free to add your own stories. I think if we keep it sports related it belongs in PT

That studio used to be owned by Perry Ferrell. One night there was a crazy party where he had a full blown circus in his place with fire eaters, trapeze artists, and all sorts of crazy shit. We were coming home from Voda or 217 or some shit and saw the line outside his place and decided to pull over and try to get in. We did and he dj'd until about 4 am. It was a surreal night.

Out of the Army and going to school in Florida, I worked at a nice club as a doorman/bouncer: Athletes, actors, musicians, politicos all came in. Met many celebs there, too many to mention. One bizarre/funny story: I was saving a table for Mike Love and his entourage (he was gonna do a couple songs at the club then promote his upcoming show on the beach) -- he walks in with a recent Playboy Playmate, all the guys go ga-ga. I'm her bodyguard at the table while Mr. Beach Boy does his couple songs. Love finishes his 2 songs, says "Come to the show tomorrow!", whisks back to the table, grabs the Playmate and books.
I go to clear the table and this guy rushes up to me, literally panting: "That... that... that glass you're holding; SHE drank her drink from that glass... right?" "Oh, yeah", I say. "Ah dude... I gotta have that glass!", almost hyperventilating. "It really means that much to ya, huh?" I say... already trying to get the weird thoughts outta my head what he's planning to do with the Playmate's glass (think Auto Donk!). "Here, man... knock yourself out, I'll give it to ya." He runs back to his table where all his buddies start high-fiving him like he just butt-fukked her on the table while John Stagliano filmed it... bizarre.
Was at lots of well-known musician parties afterhours when the club closed for the night (much drugs, I personally seldom partook outside of the alcohol); I became very good friends w/ the owner of the club, he was also a fine musician. One of my favorite meets was (don't make fun of me!)... Esther Rolle. I was a big fan as a kid of "Good Times". She was a peach to me. HOF'er Larry Little was also a very nice guy.....
Yeah yeah yeah, I know, jaker... I should go start a Florida stories thread, ffs... I get it

Back around 08-09 I greased the brush 40 bucks to move me up the list for a 5/10 NL game Ben Affleck was sitting in at the commerce. Fkn list was 10 names deep and the drool puddles were very real. He got busted set over set for a huge pot and I got his seat when he took off
More recently, about a year ago maybe, I got Jennifer Tilly to 3 barrel me while holding a flopped boat and complain that I should've folded the river because her boat could've been bigger
