I honestly think most of the time the females writing or on ESPN are just as qualified as the men. Talking the journalist and play by play roles here, of course. Most guys in sports media are nerdy fans who never competed at anywhere near a high level. And honestly a lot of the women probably were higher level athletes than their male counterparts, relatively speaking. And you're right, it is really really fukked up the places people will go when a lady says something they don't like vs a man saying something they don't like.

There's one woman who calls college football that I cannot stand. Honestly I don't have a problem with any of the rest that I can think of. There have always been good women around ESPN. It really shouldn't make a difference as long as they're good at what they do, and I will not go to bat for a lot of feminist issues but as far as their place in sports media I think the negatives are way overblown. They belong just as much as any other dork male sports journalist who never got laid until he was 27.

She's great. She was on ESPN3 first, then the last year or two started showing up on tv. I've always liked her. And yeah she's hot

Good points about the gals being qualified Hooper. Im not a huge fan of mendoza but I didn't know she was actually pretty good as a player so she gained some points in my book. I like the baseball girl on MLB network

Yes. Mike & Mike had Jemelle race baiter on and she got to sit on her high horse and talk about being a woman and receiving all these hateful tweets. That it wasn't fair to say Skip Bayless receives as many hateful tweets because it invalidates her experience. Even when she is trying to make a valid point, I cannot stand her. She is always a victim.
