Dame has dropped to -2.5, which is slightly towards my line of Dame winning by less than 2 points. I actually think, at this point that this could benefit Notre Dame, but still a good pass.

I know for certain which type of money is hit (or at least is being reflected and anticipated in bookie protection) and can say the books often use this type of movement from these groups to piggyback hoping for some steam. There could very well be an attempt to pick up more bets on Michigan, or even create more action in general. Let’s see if it ticks back to 3.

The market has experienced some public chaos as Michigan State lost today. To keep it in perspective, while many unsophisticated forecasters had Michigan State winning by almost 20 points, my sharper conclusions had a closer game of Michigan St. winning by about 4 points.

The chaos isn’t as big as the news will have you believe but this environment, in my opinion, makes this Notre Dame game, already with a pretty sharp line, more of a gamble.

Bettors like JJ, who are always the "victim" over some "uncontrollable" circumstance are part of the reason why many market participants end up taking long term profit out of the pool.
