Golden State as an organization just drafted better and picked up Curry/Barnes/Thompson as lottery picks, not to mention Draymond with the 40th pick or whatever he was. After Lebrons 1st year the Cavs had a lottery pick and got that white kid from Oregon (jackson) that played less than 100 games in his career.

While Lebron had to get together with all stars, Curry was gifted good teammates, some due to the fact that he couldn't carry a team and they finished in the lottery the first 4 or 5 years after he was drafted and made good decisions.

I think you guys missed the "calling a meeting of all stars" part. Lebron, Wade, and Bosh all meeting up and agreeing to take way less money than other teams were offering is one of the pussiest moves in the history of the sport. Totally totally pathetic. I personally don't count either of those championships for any of those losers.

This sums it up well, however as of right now the gap between Curry as the best player in the world & Lebron appears to be growing on a weekly basis. Hell even Leonard & Westbrook are starting to challenge Lebron. Nobody stays at the top for ever & Lebron's decline (when it begins in earnest) will probably be more severe as his main gift has always been his freakish athletic ability, more so than a silky jump shot or crazy handles, etc
